Plan a Golf Vacation in Beautiful South Central Wisconsin

The Devil's Head Resort golf courses are tucked away in Sauk County, Wisconsin. The Glacier Golf Course

This Wisconsin 18-hole mountain course is carved out of the glacier-formed Baraboo Bluff that takes golfers through a maze of elevation changes, narrow fairways, rock out-croppings, amazing views, and water hazards on seven holes. Surprise encounters with wildlife are a part of this golf adventure.  The Glacier Golf Course is the shorter of the two golf courses at Devil's Head so placement needs to be a part of the golfer's strategy.

One of the biggest challenges, however, is keeping your eye on the ball as you admire the view from the top of many of the bluffs on some of the tee boxes. Lush greens, rolling hills, ponds, woods and incredibly beautiful scenery perfectly describe the Glacier Golf Course at Devil's Head.  

The Prairie Glen Golf Course

Prairie Glen is the newest championship course at Devil's Head Resort. Golfers get a wild ride through 18 holes of diverse scenery featuring island greens, and Scottish links. Golf skills will be tested by numerous water holes and sand traps. Changing mountain elevations are breathtaking. Watch out for the 120' drop par 3. In addition to the incredible scenery, wildlife sightings can be distracting.

No matter what course, be sure to take a camera. Hard to believe, but golf may become a second choice to capturing the perfect photo while surrounded by the spectacular beauty of Devil's Head Resort.
